GTEW offers the SolarContainer as a standalone unit, or permanently fitted to a bespoke low-bed semi trailer. Fully customizable for your unique needs, the container can be used grid-connected, or as a diesel-saving solution with or without battery energy storage (BESS).
Based on an average power consumption of a 4-person household of 4000 kWh per year and a location in Southern Germany, the solar container can supply approx. 32 households with climate-friendly electricity. At a location in Southern Europe it can even be up to 50 households due to the high solar radiation.
SolarCont GmbH was created through a cooperation between the two successful companies Hilber Solar GmbH from beautiful Tyrol and the company Gföllner Fahrzeugbau und Containertechnik GmbH, which is deeply rooted in Upper Austria.
